It was a commitment of $ 30,000. Silent and Live Auctions and raffles were held in order to accomplish this. A cheque was presented to Christine Richer of RMcDH Charities by chairman GK Mike Kovacs and Co-Chair DD Steve Ilijanich that evening.

Knights of Columbus Council 4924,9528 & 9793 ban together to help raise funds for this worthy cause with this year's total being $ 5945.00. Submitted by Paul O'Neill, Grand KnightFather Ed Hinsperger and Brother George Harris of Council 4916 made a presentation to the members on their experiences in January volunteering at a school in Jamaica. They helped building a fence on the playground and other various repairs at the school. The Council had made a donation to Father prior to their trip.
