The Knights distributed Divine Mercy chaplets at all the 9 Masses as people entered the School and were also tasked with leading the Divine Mercy at all 9 masses. We had some decisions to make as to how to collect the food, what kind of food, where were we going to take it once we collected it etc. We received the much needed support of Father Ricardo our Pastor the rest was simply a process of collecting, packaging, weighing, recording and donating it of the Cornerstone Pantry a nearby Church who cater to the poor [...]

Submitted by Eardley AdamsBlessed Frederic Ozanam Parish Markham Council 17065 The result of the very successful Food Drive was that we collected 2000 lbs. of food and $740 in monetary donations. 911 lbs. of Food and $370 was donated to the Cornerstone Pantry and 1,090 lbs. of food and $370 in a Cheque, Food Coupon and Cash was donated to the Markham Food Bank.

Submitted by Eardley Adams Blessed Frederic Ozanam Parish Markham, Council 17065 April 2nd and 3rd, 2022 was set aside for the Wheelchair Fundraiser, we borrowed an official KofC wheelchair from State to help the congregation visualize what they were contributing towards. Placard's, posters, flyers and other hand-out materials were available including pins which were presented to everyone that made a donation.
