Fr. Ibrahim ElHaddad which is 25% of the proceeds of the Valentine Knight event that is organized annually by the council and attended by nearly 250 persons. Council #4386 – Breakfast with Santa
root 2019-01-25T16:05:11+00:00Holy Family Council #4386 of Windsor On hosted their annual Breakfast with Santa event for Junior and Senior Kindergarten students from 5 schools. There were 8 days involved during December 2018. There were 28 volunteers totalling 350 hours of service during the event. The council was able to raise $ 2500 which will be donated to charities which better the lives of children in Windsor and Essex County. PGK Denis Lortie and his wife Joanne are the chairperson for this wonderful event. Many thanks go out to the Lorties for their time and dedication to our event.

Father has been our Chaplain for a number of years and in appreciation for his service and support over the years the presentation was made as Father moves to St. Michael's Waterloo as Pastor and Chaplain to the Universities. The Christians in the Holy Land are diminishing and they have become nearly less than 2% of the population. By sponsoring a needy student, we are giving him a chance to complete his education, go to university, and graduate. Elias Assal with Lieutenant Governor of Ontario the Honorable Elizabeth Dowdeswell. In cooperation with North York Harvest Food Bank, Bro. Elias set up three food collection bins in three locations and he set a new target this year for Jesus The King Council to collect lbs 2000 in comparison to lbs 750 last year.
