Jesus The King Council Food For Families Chairman Bro. Elias Assal with Lieutenant Governor of Ontario the Honorable Elizabeth Dowdeswell. In cooperation with North York Harvest Food Bank, Bro. Elias set up three food collection bins in three locations and he set a new target this year for Jesus The King Council to collect lbs 2000 in comparison to lbs 750 last year. Already lbs 1250 have been achieved during the Christmas Food For Families drive and now with the lent drive, hopefully he will achieve his target. The target of North York Harvest Food Bank is 1 Million pounds of food. 16,000 people visit their food bank every month in North Toronto.
