Submitted by Claude Rochefort, Family Director St. Isaac Jogues, Council 11098 On April 10, 2021, Council 11098 presented a cheque in the amount of $2,270.00 to our Parish’ St. Vincent de Paul Conference. These funds were contributed by 37 Brothers and associates during our Council Lenten Food Drive. The donations combined with the $2,420.00 that our Council raised during our 2020 Thanksgiving Food Drive brought our total for our Council Food For Families donations during the current fraternal year to $4,690. Lenten Wreath

Submitted by Pierre ChartierSt. Patrick's FallowfieldTwenty-five hand made Lenten Wreaths comprised of thorn branches imported from Israel, an Easter Cross prayer card, as well as a replica lapel pin were assembled by Council 11271 and sold to interested parishioners. The total proceeds were donated to the parish and charitable organizations supported by our Council. All items of the wreath were donated by a member of our Council.

Silver Rose Pilgrimage

Submitted by Pierre ChartierSt. Patrick's FallowfieldCouncil 11271 of St. Patrick's Fallowfield parish was the proud host of the Silver Rose Pilgrimage in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Father Tom Riopelle led our Council and Congregation in special prayers prior to our weekend masses where the icon was on display on the altar. Brother Anthony Galveias also led our parishioners in a special online Rosary Recital with the Silver Rose on display. Our Council would like to thank Brother Michel Issa for his coordination of these events.

Rosary Sisters Hospital / Beirut Blast Disaster

The Rosary Sisters Hospital was severely affected due to its immediate proximity to the Beirut port (less than 500 meters). The hospital suffered extensive structural and equipment damage and became no longer operational in all its medical and administrative units. Parishioners are invited to donate warm hats, gloves scarfs and socks for neighbours in need. Duffy Since COVID-19 has arrived it has changed our lives in many ways, it has also affected our Council 1970 and its ability to continue fund raising to assist with the day-to-day continuation of your Council 1970. Community Food Pantry

Anyone in the community can stop by and receive what foodstuffs they need. The high school provided the real estate and the manufacture of the pantry. The Kingsville K of C will keep the pantry stocked. Another great collaboration to help our community!!!

Brother Knights of Francis J Clarke Council 5350 stepped up to help others struggling under the pandemic restrictions

For the Brother Knights of Francis J Clarke Council 5350, Harrow ON, the COVID 19 pandemic restrictions brought out a desire to help others struggling under the pandemic restrictions. In coordination with the Harrow Society of St Vincent de Paul, the Knights began preparing monthly take-out hot meals for families they support. The monthly take-out meals have since grown into a continuing program for the entire community.
