Our District Deputy Bruce Sutton of District # 14, along with the six Knights of Columbus Councils in Thunder, plus the Father Baxter 4th Degree Assembly showed their support for the Special Olympic Games, Athletes, and Coaches in this Ceremony. Nowhere is the influence of the local parish priest more evident than with Father Eugene O'Reilly Council 4973 at Saint Mary's Church in Brampton (ON). Membership Recruitment Drive

Submitted by KofC Ontario State Council Pioneer Council 485 at St Patrick Basilica conducted its membership recruitment drive over the weekend of October 21-22, 2023. Six Masses followed by a short speech from six different members of the Order saw dozens of prospects step forward to express their interest in the Knights. Coats for Kids donation

Submitted by KofC Ontario State Council Each year the Ontario State Board officers distribute 2 boxes of coats to the needy children in their area of residence. This year State Treasurer, Joe Bodnar, was asked by St. Joseph the Worker St. Vincent de Paul Society for some assistance in providing coats for the families applying for assistance.

Councils Gather for the Miriam Center Fundraiser Dinner

Submitted by KofC Ontario State Council On the Saturday October 21, almost 200 hundred parishioners from Ottawa and Orleans gather for the annual steak dinner fundraising event for the Miriam Center. Four councils hosted the event, Councils #5925 (Orléans) , #7873 (Divine Infant), #9005 (Good Shepherd), and 11500 (Sainte Marie d'Orléans), provided all the volunteers needed to make this event a success. Bottle Drive

Many thanks to all the parishioners and friends of the Knights who dropped off their bottles to us. The many refundable. cyclable bottles are returned the the Brewers retail and the funds go back into out community charities.
