During 2023/24 Deacon David has been completing the parish internship component of his priestly formation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish (OLPH) in Toronto. Henry, Lynn, Laura and Allan are OLPH parishioners. Deacon David, a Knight, who, among other talents, speaks fluent Gaelic, will be ordained for his hometown Diocese of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, by Most Rev. Wayne Kirkpatrick, Bishop of Antigonish, at Saint Ninian Cathedral, Antigonish, on May 31, 2024. Most Rev. Wayne Kirkpatrick, Bishop of Antigonish since February 3, 2020, was previously Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Toronto, overseeing the care of the pastoral needs of the Northern Pastoral Region.
