On Tuesday February 20th, I visited the hospital to present our cheque to the Maternity Ward. I met with Mrs. Aimee Hilson, who is the Senior Development Officer at WLMH. She was extremely happy to receive our cheque and commented on how important these funds will be to supply the Newborn babies & Moms at time of discharge from the hospital with woolen caps, blankets, Panda blankets and start-up kits when they go home. She also informed me that they will post the photo in the newspaper. I explained that hopefully in the future with our many upcoming fundraising events we might be able to do more.
