During 2023/24 Deacon David has been completing the parish internship component of his priestly formation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish (OLPH) in Toronto. Beginning last year, members of the Order in Thunder Bay (Council 7332) started a small Catholic prayer group. Since then, it has expanded to more than 15 members and is led by two deacons and follows our new Cor initiative. Easter Food Drive

Submitted by John Sobrinho St. Mark's Knights of Columbus # 10874Our small yet generous parish community of St. Marks collected 680 pounds of food over two weekends and raised $680.00 in donations to our local food bank. In addition, St. Mark's Knight's of Columbus donated an additional $500.00 to our local foodbank and $500.00 to our St. Vincent De Paul Helping Neighbours program.

Meyer Msgr Paul J Meyer Council 4916 invited parishioners to view the film "Mother Teresa No Greater Love" at St .Mary of the Visitation Church, Cambridge on Sunday March 24 at 2 pm. Thanks to our Chaplin , Fr. Ed Henhoeffer for hosting the viewing. Parishioners were asked to donate food items to support the St Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. More than 40 grocery bags full of an array of items were collected.

Submitted by Tom MitchellSt. Basil'sSt. Basil's Council 13442 in Brantford held their Easter Food Drive on Saturday March 23rd, 2024. We collected 1,584 pounds of food, toiletries and hygiene products from the parishioners of St. Basil's. With our Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter food drives this council year, we collected a total of 4,845 pounds. All items are donated to the SSVP Brant Food Bank, who then distribute the food to those in need in our community.

Eleven new members attended their Exemplification. Our State Deputy, Brother Bruce Poulin attended the Exemplification and took part of the Ceremony presenting the new members with their Rosaries.
