Submitted by Joseph Bodnar, State Secretary Ontario State Council The Ontario State Council recently approved to allow each State Board Officer to donate $1,000 donation on behalf of the Ontario Knights of Columbus from the proceeds of the State Council's online 50/50 raffle to a charity in their local community. State Treasurer Joseph Bodnar recently presented a $1,000 cheque to Marian Brady of the St. Vincent de Paul Society – St. Joseph the Worker Conference in Oshawa. This past week, at two separate Exemplification ceremonies, District Deputy 36 - Ken Cavanagh (representing 6 Oshawa councils) welcomed 13 new members into the Order. Congratulations to the 13 new members that joined 3 separate councils. District 100 Hockey Challenge in April

Submitted by Greg Lougheed, District Deputy District 100 A total of 143 girls and boys, ages 9–13, competed in the Knights of Columbus Hockey Challenge held in April. Students from St. Stephen’s, St. Mary’s, and St. Michael’s Catholic Elementary Schools in Cayuga, Hagersville, and Dunnville took part in the event. Each participant took 15 shots on a net featuring openings with different point values. The score sheets of the champions from each division will now be compared with those of champions from five other schools across Ontario to determine the Provincial Champion. Submitted by Roland Besner, Grand Knight Ontario Council #755 On May 13, Ontario Council #755 held an evening of camaraderie and congrats to Claude Poirier for having been recognized for the Russell "Russ" Cadeau award at the recent State convention in Ottawa. The evening start off with the council's general meeting and proceed into the hall for an evening fellowship, lunch lunch and recognition to Claude. Photo shows Council Chaplain Fr. David Twaddle, Grand Knight Ikenna Anyaehie, Fourth Degree members of the Msgr. Bench Assembly, and members of St. Joseph the Worker Council 9989 with Cardinal Leo. Special thanks to the members of the council who volunteered to assist with parking lot traffic control, set up the church hall, and serve as ushers at the Mass.
