Submitted by Nicholas QuadriniSt. Jude's College CouncilOn March 1st, members of St. Jude's College Council 17476 held their first membership drive of 2026 at St. Joseph's Parish in Ottawa. This was the first drive they've held at St. Joe's, and the first on the University of Ottawa campus. The council recruited five new prospects and engaged dozens of other students in the important work being done by the Knights of Columbus. The council looks forward to forming an exemplification team to welcome their new prospects in the coming weeks.

District #35 Basketball Free Throw Tournament

Submitted by Mike Sabo, District Deputy #35 Ontario State Council District 35 held their Basketball Free Throw Tournament on February 7. Around twenty members from Council #1504 (Kitchener), #5135 (New Hamburg), #9276 (Kitchener) , and #18671 (Waterloo) were present to assist with setup and support throughout the event. A total of 54 students from eight schools competed in this exciting and engaging tournament. It was a successful event, and we couldn’t have done it without our dedicated brothers. Well done!

Council #1926 donation to St. Augustine’s Seminary

Submitted by Ken Cavanagh, District Deputy #36 St. Gertrude Council #1926  St. Gertrude Council #1926 in Oshawa donated $3000.00 to St. Augustine's Seminary in support of priestly vocations. This funds were raised through the council's successful Delta Bingo proceeds. Prayers and donations are what will help the seminarians in their mission.

District 14 Welcomes 11 New Knights

The team was comprised of the four GKs, the DD and Warden of one of the councils. The Investing Officer was Past State Deputy Joe Salini. Numerous Knights and family members attended the ceremony.

Submitted by Schubert Restituto, SK Blessed Frederic Ozanam Council #17065 A group of Knights from the Blessed Frederic Ozanam Council #17065 visited the Wideman Mennonite Church on Markham Road to present the Council's donation in support of the Blue Door/ Mosaic Interfaith Out of the Cold program at this location.  The program provides seasonal emergency housing for youths, adults and seniors experiencing homelessness in York Region.
