State Treasurer Joseph Bodnar recently presented a $1,000 cheque to Marian Brady of the St. Vincent de Paul Society – St. Joseph the Worker Conference in Oshawa. District 100 Hockey Challenge in April

Submitted by Greg Lougheed, District Deputy District 100 A total of 143 girls and boys, ages 9–13, competed in the Knights of Columbus Hockey Challenge held in April. Students from St. Stephen’s, St. Mary’s, and St. Michael’s Catholic Elementary Schools in Cayuga, Hagersville, and Dunnville took part in the event. Each participant took 15 shots on a net featuring openings with different point values. Photo shows Council Chaplain Fr. David Twaddle, Grand Knight Ikenna Anyaehie, Fourth Degree members of the Msgr. Bench Assembly, and members of St. Joseph the Worker Council 9989 with Cardinal Leo.
