Submitted by Bruce SuttonOur Lady of CharityCouncils 1447, 7332 and 8602 in Thunder Bay came together this year to purchase 10 boxes of Coats for Kids and take advantage of Supreme's buy one, get one promotion. Through this purchase and promotion, Council 8602 was able to donate eight boxes of coats to Precious Bundles, a local organization that recycles quality used children's clothing. Submitted by Joe BodnarS.K. Leonard T. Smith Squires CircleOn Friday November 7th the S.K. Leonard T. Smith Squires Circle 4742 Oshawa were given a brief history lesson on the life of Fr. McGivney by counselor Joe Bodnar. After the presentation each Squire got to hold and view the relic of Blessed Fr. McGivney and they all prayed the prayer for his canonization. The Squires were very interested in learning about his life and the miracle credited to him becoming Blessed.
