//Knights of Columbus Appreciation Night in Chatham
Submitted by David Gelinas, State Deputy
Ontario State Council

On June 9, the Chatham-Kent Barnstormers hosted their annual Volunteer and Knights of Columbus Appreciation Night at Fergie Jenkins Field in Chatham, Ontario. The event recognized and celebrated the dedicated volunteers whose efforts play a vital role in the success of game-day operations, including running concession stands, assisting with stadium cleanups, and organizing 50/50 draws.

These activities are primarily managed by KofC councils in Chatham and help raise funds in support of local charities throughout the community. The appreciation night was a tremendous success and served as a fitting tribute to the many volunteers who generously donate their time and talents.

Ontario State Deputy David Gelinas attended the event and had the honour of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch, helping to make the evening even more memorable for all in attendance.
