“200th Anniversary Mass of the Cemetery — With Bishop Fabbro and the Honour Guard of the Fourth Degree”

2025-09-07T00:00:00+00:00

Submitted by Richard BlythBelle RiverFor two centuries, this sacred ground has been a place of prayer, memory, and hope for the faithful of Belle River. Here, beneath the trees and the cross, generations have been laid to rest, their lives woven into the story of our parish and community. On this anniversary, we gather with Bishop Fabbro and the Honour Guard of the Fourth Degree to give thanks for all who came before us, to remember their sacrifices, and to entrust them once more to the mercy of God.

Submitted by Don LarocqueHoly RedeemerThanks to the dedicated efforts of outgoing District Deputy for District 13, Dennis Tomini, the City Parks Department agreed to create a beautiful flower bed at Bell Park in Sudbury. This initiative was completed in preparation for the Canada Day outdoor bilingual Mass, held at the Grotto. Many parishioners attended the celebration, and the choir’s heartfelt music greatly enriched the ceremony. We extend our sincere thanks to Dennis Tomini for achieving this wonderful accomplishment—a clear sign that the Knights of Columbus remain active and visible in the Sudbury community.
