The St Lawrence Knights of Columbus Council organized a Thanksgiving Food Drive, in partnership with the Parish Women’s Group. The food collection of non-perishable items started early in September. The donations have doubled this year reaching an all-time record of 1,465lbs.

The food items collected were donated to Food Banks / distribution centers including the Agincourt Community Services and Good Shepherd Ministries. in time for Thanksgiving.

Thank you letters were received from both recipients and a letter of recognition received from the local MP. A formal presentation was made with coverage from the local media.
