Father’s Day Greetings

My Brothers,

When I look at our councils in Ontario, I am reminded of the Holy Family. Like Joseph, Mary and Jesus, as an entity we form a large family dedicated to the wellbeing of those near and afar.

When among us, Jesus, reminded us often to love one another and to be of service to those less fortunate. As your State Deputy, it has been my honor and privilege to witness firsthand the efforts of our member councils, when confronted with adversity surrounding the COVID 19 pandemic, as you readily adjusted by introducing new viable programs which proved very effective during these trying times. Your efforts and dedication help you reach previously unequalled new heights of service. Like a father caring for his children, by your “Faith in Action” you have demonstrated to me what fraternity, unity and charity mean. I am thankful to the Lord, for having been present, to witness all that has transpired.

On behalf of my wife Flavia, my daughters Daniella and Gabriella, the Ontario State Board, and your Brother Knights, I would like to wish each of you a very Happy Father’s Day.

May the good Lord wipe out this pandemic and protect you and your families as we move towards the new normal.
