Council 8919 proudly welcomes Brothers Dennis Walsh, Ian Crawford and Mazin Naim. The event was conducted by our area 3rd Degree Team consisting of Brother Paul Peltier (Conferring Officer), Andrew Peltier (Warden), Gerry Moynahan (Music) and Marcel St Pierre representing Ontario State. Through the generosity of our Parishioners we were able to collect $ 748.00 . Submitted by Paul Ratko, PGK, Mothers Day ChairmanOnce again this year Council 8919 presented Carnations to all Mothers, Mother-in-law, Grandmothers and ‘Mothers be’ at the 5:00 PM Mass on Saturday May 12th and the 10:00 AM Mass on Sunday May 13th. Our Parish Priest and Council Spiritual Advisor Fr. Rob Rocheleau then provided a blessing for all women who have nurtured us throughout our lives. Thank you to all our Brother Knights who assisted distributing these carnations on both days honouring our ladies.

Submitted by Ted Rocheleau, PGKWith the support from Kingsville Minor Soccer, the Kingsville Council 8233 hosted the Knights of Columbus Soccer Penalty Kick for 2018 with much success with 43 kids taking part. The Soccer Penalty Kick was held over a two days period after a rain out on the first day. The main shooting took place on the rain date Thursday with the tie breakers and presentations on the following Tuesday. Pictured are just some of the winners who took part. Submitted by Mike Meady, DD 14Dew Drop Food Drive 2018 - All 6 of the Thunder Bay Knights of Columbus Councils held a food drive at the 3 Thunder Bay Metro stores on Saturday May 12. The Food Drive was a great success 10 full half ton loads of food products, 10 coolers with hamburger, hams, pork chops, wiener’s, sausages, e.t.c. and over $ 2,200 in cash and food card donations. Submitted by Steven Ilijanich District Deputy #23On May 12, 2018, the Belle River Council 2775 hosted a Gala to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House food pantry at Windsor Regional Hospital. It was a commitment of $ 30,000. Silent and Live Auctions and raffles were held in order to accomplish this. A cheque was presented to Christine Richer of RMcDH Charities by chairman GK Mike Kovacs and Co-Chair DD Steve Ilijanich that evening.

Submitted by Jesmond Tabone, District Deputy5th Annual Fundraiser Dinner In support of Patient Assistance Fund - St. Theresa Hall on 1991 Norman Rd was the site of the 5th Annual Fundraiser Dinner in Support of the Patients Assistance Fund at the Windsor Essex Cancer Center Foundation. Knights of Columbus Council 4924,9528 & 9793 ban together to help raise funds for this worthy cause with this year's total being $ 5945.00.
