Submitted by SK Hikmat Michel Dandan Jesus The King Council 15045 As you know, Beirut suffered a massive explosion on August 4, resulting in devastating destruction to the city and its port. The Rosary Sisters Hospital was severely affected due to its immediate proximity to the Beirut port (less than 500 meters). The hospital suffered extensive structural and equipment damage and became no longer operational in all its medical and administrative units. Parishioners are invited to donate warm hats, gloves scarfs and socks for neighbours in need. Duffy Since COVID-19 has arrived it has changed our lives in many ways, it has also affected our Council 1970 and its ability to continue fund raising to assist with the day-to-day continuation of your Council 1970. Community Food Pantry

Anyone in the community can stop by and receive what foodstuffs they need. The high school provided the real estate and the manufacture of the pantry. The Kingsville K of C will keep the pantry stocked. Another great collaboration to help our community!!!

For the Brother Knights of Francis J Clarke Council 5350, Harrow ON, the COVID 19 pandemic restrictions brought out a desire to help others struggling under the pandemic restrictions. In coordination with the Harrow Society of St Vincent de Paul, the Knights began preparing monthly take-out hot meals for families they support. The monthly take-out meals have since grown into a continuing program for the entire community. Submitted by John Jackson, Grand Knight. Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Council 12401. Several years ago, Brother Marcel Vaillancourt had an inspiration. From his 10 X 10 storage shed converted into a small workshop, he took it upon himself to start building wooden crucifixes to be donated to Our Lady of the Miraculous medal yearly First Communion recipients. Submitted by Steve Phillips Saint Edith Stein - Rockland Saint Faustina Parish in Cumberland has been providing three “Drive-In” Sunday masses for parishioner’s during the pandemic lockdown. Only 50 cars are allowed in the parking lot for each mass. Brother Knights from Saint Edith Stein Council 13049 (Rockland) are on site for each mass, collecting donations, directing vehicles to parking spots and assisting them to leave the parking lot at the end of the mass. Wattson Council 8919 holds an Annual Holiday Dinner in early December; and there is a long-standing tradition to invite every widow of a deceased member of our Council, to enjoy a complimentary dinner. With Windsor implementing tightened restrictions and having moved into the Grey Zone (or Lockdown), this year this dinner would be cancelled. Nevertheless, in keeping with Fr. Michael J.
