Submitted by Don LarocqueHoly RedeemerThanks to the dedicated efforts of outgoing District Deputy for District 13, Dennis Tomini, the City Parks Department agreed to create a beautiful flower bed at Bell Park in Sudbury. This initiative was completed in preparation for the Canada Day outdoor bilingual Mass, held at the Grotto. Many parishioners attended the celebration, and the choir’s heartfelt music greatly enriched the ceremony. We extend our sincere thanks to Dennis Tomini for achieving this wonderful accomplishment—a clear sign that the Knights of Columbus remain active and visible in the Sudbury community.

Brothers from the council were involved in all aspects of the festival, including setting up tents, lighting, chairs, and selling the well sought after Dubai Ice Cream. The event was a great success, with hundreds of people from across Ottawa participating in several days of dancing and celebration.
