Submitted by Schubert Restituto, SK Blessed Frederic Ozanam Council #17065 A group of Knights from the Blessed Frederic Ozanam Council #17065 visited the Wideman Mennonite Church on Markham Road to present the Council's donation in support of the Blue Door/ Mosaic Interfaith Out of the Cold program at this location.  The program provides seasonal emergency housing for youths, adults and seniors experiencing homelessness in York Region. Submitted by Mike Sabo, District Deputy #35 Ontario State Council District 35 held their Basketball Free Throw Tournament on February 7. Around twenty members from Council #1504, 5135 (New Hamburg), #9276 (Kitchener) , and #18671 (Waterloo) were present to assist with setup and support throughout the event. A total of 54 students from eight schools competed in this exciting and engaging tournament. It was a successful event, and we couldn’t have done it without our dedicated brothers. Well done!
