Submitted by Bruce S. Poulin, State DeputyOn March 12, the KofC Wheelchair team visited the Santo Tomas Hospital as well as the Children's hospital in Panama City where our wheelchairs were much appreciated.

Poulin, State DeputyThe members of Club Activo 20-30 in Panama have partnered with the Knights of Columbus to store and then help distribute the more than 280 wheelchairs that arrived in Panama last January. Some of these wheelchairs were distributed in bulk while others were delivered to individuals during the delegation's eight-day visit.

(Russ) Cadeau was the guest of Honour at a special dinner recognizing his 70 years of membership in and service to the Knights of Columbus. Submitted by Bruce S. Poulin, State DeputyThis past weekend (March 22-23) saw a horse race between competing recruiting activities in Scarborough and Ottawa areas. In Ottawa, for example, our team was aided by our State Deputy (who had just returned from donating our wheelchairs in Panama) and our Membership Director. By the time a final count was done, they had secured 26 prospects and two transfers for Council #7873. Meanwhile, the recruiting effort at St. Rose de Lima Council #13244 saw 16 prospects.
