Submitted by Dan E. Pergolesi, Grand KnightCouncil 8919 : Bottle Drive for Special Olympics On January 8, 2017, Fr. Paul J.F. Wattson held their bi-annual bottle drive for Special Olympics. Through the generosity of our parishioners and council members we were able to raise almost two hundred dollars, which will go to Special Olympics Ontario.

Granottier Council #2O92 & Assembly #3432 bring the "Special Olympics Flag Relay" to visit the Special Olympics Swim Team practice at the Owen Sound YMCA/Julie McArthur Recreation Centre. The Flag was paraded around the Pool area, O' Canada was sung and all present were invited to sign the flag. In addition the 12 Knights present ,the event was attended by 30+ athletes, coaches & volunteers. Guests included the Local MPP , County Warden, acting Owen Sound Mayor & City Councillors. The District Deputy & District Warden were also in attendance

James Raats from the Knights of Columbus presents a $ 400 cheque to St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School students whose drawings illustrate how their families keep Christ In Christmas. Funds donated will go to the Halton Catholic Children's Education Fund.

Proud to announce the first two Shepherds: Mrs Jeanette Zerey Elliot who lives in Toronto and arranged for the sponsorship of two more needy students, and Worthy District Deputy, Sir Knight Rod Anderson from Ohio, who arranged for the sponsorship of another 3 [...]

Council 5333 Holy Cross Kemptville, with the generous assistance and donations from parishioners, local schools and local businesses was able to assemble and deliver much needed food and gifts to over 90 needy families in our area.
