Submitted by Eardley Adams, PGK, DD, FN.18 people for Council 7689 showed up, consisting of Brother Knights and their wives, at 8:30 a.m. to support the picking of Apples for the Food Bank. We picked approximately 3 Tons of Apples by 11:00 a.m. This is in addition to 2 other pickings about 2 weeks ago. A total in excess of 6 tons.

The "Vocations Church" is rotated between all of the councils in the diocese to be displayed during the weekend masses at all of the parishes in the community. Donations are collected for the KofC "Salini Vocations Fund" which is distributed by the bishop to those following their calling to the priesthood. It is permitted in all 9 months of pregnancy and funded by the tax payer. At the intersection, Father Youhanna Hanna from Jesus The King Church ended the peaceful protest with a prayer for the unborn. Prolife Chairman Edmond Wehbe and Biblia Chairman Albert Mikhail were present as well.
