The Icon was present all weekend and following the Masses the parishioners had an opportunity to venerate the Icon. The parishioners were very impressed with the Icon.

During the mass Father Edward Smith preached about the importance of supporting the education of these children, thanking the Knights of Columbus for their charitable work, and asked all the attending sponsors to stand up, then blessed and sprinkled them with Holy Water.
