Submitted by Denis Gilmore, TrusteeHockey Equipment for Northern Communities Accepting a skate is Stan Beardy, Muskrat Dam Community Chief from Gilles Boisvert, Territorial Warden 4, to mark the start of a project to provide used hockey equipment for northern Ontario indigenous communities. Generous response from members and other councils in Thunder Bay resulted in the shipment of 13 large equipment bags of skates,sweaters,sticks, pads and a complete set of goalie equipment to Muskrat Dam.

EARLIER IN THE DAY, THE FLAG WAS AT THE KINGSVILLE AREA FOR MINOR HOCKEY PLAYERS AND FAMILIES TO SIGN. SUNDAY, THE FLAG WAS AT OUR CHILIFEST AFTER MASS FOR OUR PARISHIONER TO SIGN.

Its wonderful to see a Brother Knight help a fellow council. Great example of inter-council support and love. It was given at the district meeting in front of all the district Grand Knights and District Deputy Michael Dynes.
