Submitted by Sal Lentini, DGK Orillia Council #1428 Over the past six months due to the absence of a custodian and a janitor at Guardian Angels Parish, Council 1428 members stepped up and maintained almost an acre of grass cutting and trimming, as well as weeding and watering five large flower gardens. In addition to all the outdoor maintenance Knights also kept up the inside of our beautiful church cleaning, vacuuming and performing small repairs. Coats for Kids donation

Submitted by Henry Miller KofC Ontario State On October 26, 2021, Knights of Columbus Ontario State donated 24 winter coats to the Catholic Children’s Aid Foundation. This donation is through their Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids campaign. State Warden Henry Miller delivered the coats to Connie Reid, Executive Director of the Catholic Children’s Aid Foundation.

Submitted by Gino Ave Maria Living Outdoor Rosary organized by Ave Maria Council 9494 On Saturday, October 23, 2021, after the 5 P.M. vigil Mass, the Knights of Ave Maria Council serving Epiphany of Our Lord Parish in Scarborough and the parish’s Legion of Mary held a live outdoor Rosary for their parishioners. Submitted by Jim Cummings- Fr. Granottier Council 2092. On September 27, 2021, K of C Fr. Granottier Council No. 2092 presented a cheque worth $10,000 to CMHA (Canadian Mental Health Association). This are the proceeds raised by Council 2092 from 560 CFOS Radio BINGO. Jackie Ralph from CMHA accepted the cheque. The proceeds will go towards funding the non-government programs that offer prevention in youth mental health.
