JERUSALEM STUDENTS GOES TO LEBANON
Many times, I received suggestions, to extend Jerusalem Students, which has become a solid and growing program (Awarded the Supreme Council International Youth Service Award 2013 San Antonio Texas, and Ontario State Deputy Longevity Award 2022) to cover the education of needy Christian students in Lebanon where the economy and currency has collapsed to unprecedented levels that never happened since 100 years which is also threatening Catholic education. During these difficult economic times, I identified a Catholic School, Saint Enfant Jésus – Besançon Baabdath, a Catholic, French-speaking school, which belongs to the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Jeanne-Antide Thouret (Besançon). It is a non profit that counts around 700 students, guided by 70 teachers and administrative staff approximately. Head Sister Marie Rached, requested the help of the Knights of Columbus.

I asked the school to identify 10 students whose parents are suffering from the worst economic situation. Attached are their photos. Seven students have had their education scholarship already sponsored. If you wish to sponsor or share the education scholarship of one of the last three students, please contact me.

This will not affect the support Jerusalem Students is providing to the Melkite Catholic Patriarchate School in the Holy Land but is an extension that will give an opportunity to support the education of needy Christian students in Lebanon. ($260 per year for sharing a student, $510 per year for full scholarship).
