Immediate Past State Deputy, Bruce S. Poulin, has been awarded the Benemerenti Medal, an honor bestowed by Pope Leo XIV. The medal recognizes Catholics who exemplify what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ.

His Excellency, Ivan Jurkovič, Apostolic Nuncio to Canada, presented the award on April 24, 2026, during the awards night of the Knights of Columbus Ontario State Convention held in Ottawa. Congratulations, Bruce!
