During the 5 weeks prior to and including Good Friday, the hardworking Brother Knight of the Cooking Team of Council 8919 hosted a weekly Lenten Fish Fry between 4:30 and 6:30 serving 1195 meals over the 6 weeks. We also used this as a recruitment tool, inviting non-members to join us in the preparation and dispensing of the meals and recognized three new potential candidates. In addition, we also hosted the Special Olympics Flag which we proudly displayed in the hall, inviting all our patrons to sign.
