St. Joseph Syriac Council # 17309 in Mississauga was born early June. Most Reverend Canada Syriac Bishop Mar Antoine Nassif & Rev. Abouna Khalid Karomi, presided over the Mass. The youth of the Syriac parish all wearing T shirts with the image of Our Lady carried the statue of The Blessed Virgin in a procession that ended by the Syriac Bishop Mar Antoine Nassif placing a crown on Mary’s statue. It was a beautiful ceremony that shows the deep faith of the Syriac Catholic community. Vivat Jesus
