LENTEN VISIT MELKITE CATHOLIC BISHOP OF CANADA On Sunday March 19th, Most Rev. Bishop Ibrahim Ibrahim presided over the noon Mass in which Fr. Ibrahim ElHaddad, pastor of Jesus The King Melkite Catholic Parish and his two assistant priests Fr. Michel and Fr. Youhanna celebrated with a huge crowd. Bishop Ibrahim said ” We must be generous with God “, referring to Late Stephen Roman, who built the Cathedral of The Transfiguration that was consecrated by St. John Paul II in 1984. The Roman family graciously allowed Jesus the King Melkite Catholics to use the Cathedral as their place of worship after the accidental fire in Jesus The King Church. St. John Paul II Assembly 3325 Sir Knights participated as Honor Guards in the Mass processions.
