So, on February 20th, Peterborough Special Olympics organized a surprise dinner for Ron and his wife Karen. Representatives from the Knights of Columbus were invited to participate in recognizing Ron’s contributions to Special Olympics locally, nationally and internationally over the years. Submitted by Rick StankiewiczAssumption-Keene CouncilThe Food Drive organized by Council#14032 and supported greatly by Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, accomplished a milestone this year. Since we started to record the weight of the non-perishable food donations, we now reached a total of 1,044 lbs. (475 kg.). This is a great achievement and one that has made a lot of people happy.
