Poulin, State DeputyToronto Council #1388Following the Divine Liturgies (e.g. Mass) on Sunday February 23, well over 60 brother Knights took part in a luncheon for His Beatitude before he left to support a demonstration calling for support for Ukraine later that afternoon. The demonstration was held at Toronto City Hall. This luncheon was hosted by Toronto Council #1388 and was an outstanding success by any measure.

Poulin, State DeputyOn February 22, several dozen members of the Knights of Columbus attended a dinner in honour of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy, His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk. Psd Ed Shawchuck and Lady Sandra as well as our Associate State Chaplain, were essential in the successful execution of this event. In all, more than 400 community leaders from across Canada attended the dinner held in Oakville.

Poulin, State DeputyOn January 26, our Family Director, Jaime Libaque, received the King Charles III Coronation Medal for his exemplary community work, including Knights of Columbus programs such as Coats for Kids, Food Drives, Basketball Free Throws, a Lottery Raffle, the Scarborough Canada Day Parade, and various Pro-Life events. Well done, Brother Jaime.

The event was hosted by Assembly #2230 and held at Royal Canadian Legion Branch #632 in Orleans. A full-capacity crowd attended the event (195 people) despite the snowstorm. The occasion allowed our State Deputy to highlight the long-standing relationship between our military and veteran community with the Knights and how our Sir Knights have put their cardinal virtue of Patriotism into action.
