This council is very active in their parish and also supports many local charities within their community. Submitted by GK Joe Crane Pieta Council 6026 The Georgetown Knights of Columbus were notified by the local Georgetown Bread Basket on September 14th that their requirements were steadily increasing and that they would be in need for the Thanksgiving weekend. In cooperation with Father David Walter, our Pastor and Chaplain, we made arrangements with the CWL, and our parish secretary placed notices in our parish bulletin. Food donation bags from the Georgetown Bread Basket were provided after masses on the two weekends prior September 30th.
