Submitted by Denis Gilmore, TrusteeHockey Equipment for Northern Communities Accepting a skate is Stan Beardy, Muskrat Dam Community Chief from Gilles Boisvert, Territorial Warden 4, to mark the start of a project to provide used hockey equipment for northern Ontario indigenous communities. Generous response from members and other councils in Thunder Bay resulted in the shipment of 13 large equipment bags of skates,sweaters,sticks, pads and a complete set of goalie equipment to Muskrat Dam.

Submitted by Denis Gilmore- TrusteeRegional Winners of the Substance Abuse Poster Contest proudly display their plaques which they received from Council 9295 Grand Knight, Wesley Ramage. Cole MacKenzie placed first in the Drugs category while Cassandra Putney won the Alcohol category. Each received a $75 gift certificate along with a medallion and a participation certificate. Both students are from Bishop Gallagher School in Thunder Bay.
