Submitted by Danny Spano, Grand Knight and District Warden #86On Feb 15, 2017, together with the Knights of Columbus and Mayor Jeff Lehman, Barrie athletes Sam, Jade, Belinda and PJ helped raise the flag that is part of the Knight of Columbus Flag Relay. Flags are travelling across Ontario and will come together at the School Champs event in Niagara in June. Great thanks to the ongoing support of Special Olympics province-wide by the Knights of Columbus!

Submitted by Danny Spano, Grand Knight and District Warden #86Bro Don McDonald was given a plaque of appreciation for being Santa Claus at our parish (Holy Spirit in Barrie) for so many years. Its wonderful to see a Brother Knight help a fellow council. Great example of inter-council support and love. It was given at the district meeting in front of all the district Grand Knights and District Deputy Michael Dynes.
