Submitted by Jaime Libaque, G.K.For the 5th consecutive year, the St lawrence Council organized a bus to Ottawa, to participate in the March for Life. We're fortunate to have Fr. Steven as our spiritual guide. This year about 30% of the bus participants were going for the first time and had a very positive experience. Two KOC videos were shown during the trip, followed by a soft recruitment; as a result one person decided to join the Knights !
Submitted by Tim Salisbury - Social Media / WebmasterOn April 23, the Knights of Columbus - Council 5073 cooked a delicious breakfast with all the fixings at their Columbus Hall on Industrial Street in Burlington The full family-friendly breakfast included bacon, eggs, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, fruit, coffee, juice and more. More than 150 people attend this community-oriented breakfast. The council supports the parishes of St. Patrick's, St. Raphael's, St. John the Baptist and St. Paul the Apostle in Burlington.

This year’s raffle a huge variety of prizes, including a 2017 Ford Mustang.
Submitted by Ted Rocheleau, Grand KnightThe Kingsville Knights of Columbus Council 8233's recent Wild Game Dinner at Colasanti's on March 4th proved to be very successful financially, with over 600 people in attendance. From the event, the Kingsville Council Donated $ 10,000 to Erie Shore Hospice of Leamington. Receiving the cheque on behalf of Erie Shores Hospice is Ross Barnwell. Wild Game Chairman Dan McGuire and Grand Knight Ted Rocheleau along with their Brother Knights are seen presenting the cheque to Mr Barnwell.

This past Lent over 1,000 pounds of canned & packaged food plus $ 2,255 in cash was donated. The food will be distributed by St Mary's & Missions Catholic Charities to needy families, various emergency food pantrys and kitchens in the Owen Sound area and the cash will be donated to the Owen Sound Hunger & Relief Effort (OSHaRE) and the Safe 'n' Sound Homelessness Initiative Photo: Food for Families Chair , PGK. The check is to be presented to a charity of the family's choice in memory of SK Lawrence. SK Lawrence was a charter member of the Assembly.
