The above photos are for the sponsored students who have graduated from the Melkite Catholic Patriarchate School in Beit Sahour, Shepherds Fields'. Without the continuous support of the sponsors, many students would not probably be able to graduate. 70 % of the sponsors are Brother Knights, councils, assemblies and 30% are faithful Christians from all over North America. The re-elected GK Jaime Libaque, FDD,PFN congratulaed the 4 new Officers and shared the good news of the Council winning a Double Star Award (one of the 8 winning Councils in Ontario). The Council had also won the "Best Council Award in Division 4" in Ontario during the 2016-17 fraternal year.

Submitted by Stephen Cochrane DD-6820 Sir Knights formed an Honour Guard for the Funeral Mass of SK Ronald Garinther PGK, FDD and sitting Faithful Navigator of Bishop Crinnon Assembly 2511, Lucan Ontario. The Funeral Mass was held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Grand Bend, Ontario with Rev. Fr. Tony Laforet as celebrant on Friday Aug. 4, 2017. Ron was a retired educator with the London Separate School Board and will be missed by his Brother Knights and family.
