Submitted by David Gelinas On November 1, 2021, Knights of Columbus Ontario State donated boxes of winter coats to King Edward Elementary School in Windsor and Margaret D. Bennie Elementary School in Leamington. This donation is through the Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids campaign. State Treasurer, David Gelinas, delivered the coats to Lori Hugli, Principal at King Edward Elementary School, and to Amy Sullivan, grade-school teacher of Margaret D. Bennie Elementary School.
Submitted by David Gelinas On November 2, 2021, Knights of Columbus Ontario State donated $5000 to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, Chatham. State Treasurer, David Gelinas, presented the cheque to Connie Badour, President of the SSVP Kent Deanery, and other staff. The donation is for the renovations at their camp.

Submitted by Joseph LeBlanc Holy Redeemer Council 9544 On October 29, 2021, Holy Redeemer Council #9544 donated and delivered the coats for kids to the Catholic Center for Immigrants. The winter coats are for the recently arrived Afghan refugee kids. The Coats were distributed to St. Vincent De Paul Society, Langs Community Centre and Waterloo Region Food 4 Kids. Grand Knight Dan Schmalz delivered the Coats to Food 4 Kids office.
Submitted by Sal Lentini, DGK Orillia Council #1428 Over the past six months due to the absence of a custodian and a janitor at Guardian Angels Parish, Council 1428 members stepped up and maintained almost an acre of grass cutting and trimming, as well as weeding and watering five large flower gardens. In addition to all the outdoor maintenance Knights also kept up the inside of our beautiful church cleaning, vacuuming and performing small repairs.
