Submitted by John Smeenk Fr. Ladislaus Council 7744 Council 7744 in Blenheim have increased our participation in the Coats for Kids program this winter. Aside from our gaming fund raising efforts, we have reached out to the  community for sponsorship. With COVID 19 affecting the income of so many people in Chatham Kent, we have witnessed the gratitude these coats have generated. Pictured is our Council Brother Joe Kormendy presenting a box of coats to the CK Womens Centre on Dec 6th, 2020.

Submitted by SK Hikmat Michel DandanJesus The King CouncilCHRISTMAS is the right time to put your HOLY LAND RESOLUTION and FAITH into ACTION. So during the Pandemic, Leave No Christian Refugee Behind. In the 113th Knights of Columbus Ontario State Convention in 2016, I submitted the Holy Land Resolution which was passed with a unanimous vote. turning Chickens into Coats

2020-12-01T00:00:00+00:00

Submitted by Ed DizazzoSaint Daniel'sIn late summer our Council fired up our BBQ grills and, adhering to all safety precautions, served up a no contact, takeaway BBQ chicken meal to an appreciative (and hungry community). Thanks to the many masked Brothers who helped out, we enjoyed a sold-out success. This allowed us to replenish our dwindling coffers, and in keeping with the Leave No Neighbour Behind philosophy, we were able to donate two boxes of Coats for Kids to the North Dundas Christmas Fund. In addition, one more box went to a local women's shelter and another to a local elementary [...]

Keep Christ In Christmas Face Mask

2020-11-23T14:54:22+00:00

Submitted by Pierre Chartier St. Patrick's Fallowfield Council 11271 Our Council has designed two separate, practical items which are being sold to our parishioners as a parish fund raising project. To help facilitate the message of "social distancing" we designed protective face masks with our theme of "Keep Christ in Christmas" silk screened on them as well as a practical tea towel with the same slogan in six different designs. Two great stocking stuffers that help to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas!
