Most Reverend Canada Melkite Bishop Milad El Jawich celebrated the Jerusalem Students Mass for the intention of the students, scholarship sponsors and the Holy Land. Coats for Kids

Submitted by Roger Richard, District Deputy District 101 St. Vladimir the Great St. Vladimir the Great Council 9557 manage to collect 500 coats for Kids and Adults including coats purchase by Councils in Ottawa, but short as there were 1000 in need of coats. Now the Council will keep asking for coats for a very important event - Coats for New Comers (Ukrainian new Comers) in Ottawa.

Submitted by GK SK Yolando FernandesSt. Barnabas CouncilEach year, beginning Spring until end Fall, Brother Knights from KOFC Council 13785, as well as some parish brothers, maintain the Church Grounds at St. Barnabas Parish, Scarborough-ON. During this period, each week, Brother Knights help facilitate the maintenance of the Parish grounds and surrounding areas, by mowing the church lawn, clean-up, trimming branches, bagging leaves during fall, shed maintenance, dumping garbage in the dumpsters, etc. Thanks to all Brother Knights that continue to do each year, these good works of charity and supporting our Parish Pastor with the upkeep of the Church grounds.

We would like to thank all of the Members of the 4th degree who participated in the honour guard and all the Brother Knights who attended. It was a very nice celebration, and the Knights of Columbus was really well represented. The Image above shows the honour guard taken after the funeral. Submitted by Dan PergolesiLondon West Diocesan AssociationOn Saturday October 22, 2022, a Memorial Service was held at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, inside the St. Francis of Assisi Mausoleum, to honour all Brother Knights and the families of, who had passed away since the beginning of 2019, thru October 2022. This was done as due to COVID and the restrictions imposed, we were not provided the opportunity to properly pay our respects to these Brothers Knights. The Service was presided over by Fr. Our Lady of Fatima Devotion Holy Hour/Eucharistic Adoration

Submitted by GK SK Yolando FernandesSt. Barnabas ParishThe last Fatima Devotion was held on Thursday 13th October 2022 at St. Barnabas Parish, Toronto-ON, after five months of its initiation in June 2022. KOFC Council 13785 were truly blessed to be part of this great spiritual journey and experience the grace and devotion to our Blessed Mother. The Holy Hour and Mass was followed by Procession outside the Church compound led by Fr. Hansoo and Deacon Paul, alongside KOFC Assembly Honor Guards, and Eucharistic Adoration thereafter inside the church. The Consecration to the Holy Family prayer was also recited after the mass. Food for Families – Donation Drive for Good Shepherd Ministries,Toronto-ON

Submitted by GK SK Yolando FernandesSt. BarnabasMembers of the Knights of Columbus 13785 participated and supported the Thanksgiving Food Drive over the long weekend (Sat 8th & Sun 9th Oct) after each weekend mass, at St. Barnabas Parish, Toronto-ON. Thanks to the generous donation from the parishioners of St. Barnabas Parish, the knights were able to pack and deliver 2,002 lbs of non-perishable food, in addition to $ 50/- in cash donation, to Good Shepherd Ministries, Downtown Toronto-ON, on 11th October 2022. Good Shepherd continue to provide Meals-to-Go to people who are struggling with homelessness and poverty.
