Submitted by Roger Richard, FSOn June 27, 2015, St. Theresa the Little Flower Council 16005 held the 3rd Generation of Leahy Entertainment featuring the Enright Family. The concert was a fundraising for the Refugee Sponsorship Fund, the first in 86 years of St. Theresa the Child Jesus parish since the existence of the Parish. There were 130 parishioners and visitors attending this concert. The concert raised $ 2,100.00 for Refugee Sponsorship fund. Yashin Rehmanji is a local boy who suffers from a degenerative disease called Friedreich’s Ataxia. It has now progressed to the point where he is confined to a wheel chair. Yashin is an active boy who attends school everyday like all of his contemporaries. He has also been growing like his friends his age.
