The event featured a montage of photos, cake and a live band to entertain. as usual the members of Council 8951 put in an extraordinary effort and it showed. Congrats to the members and families of Council #8951 in Port Perry!

Submitted by Bruce S. Poulin, State DeputyOne of the remaining Diocesan Association held their meeting on April 5, in London West a few weeks before the annual State Convention. A new executive was elected. Some of the 30 members who had gathered for the meeting also called for a resumption of their Columbian Service Day. Finally, two candidates running for the position of State Warden also spoke to those present.

Submitted by Bruce S. Poulin, State DeputyThe brothers from the Toronto Diocese for Western Area held their biannual meeting in Scarborough March 31. The meeting saw the election of a new Executive as well as the nomination of a delegate for the next Supreme Convention being held in Washington, D.C., this coming August.

His apartment has one bedroom which is shared between him, his two sisters and their mother. His dream is to become a teacher. Angel was born with deformed legs so he learned to walk on his hands to get around. His Godmother took care of him during the day while his mother worked for the first nine years of his life before his mother was unable to [...]

Submitted by Bruce S. Poulin, State DeputyOn March 12, the KofC Wheelchair team visited the Santo Tomas Hospital as well as the Children's hospital in Panama City where our wheelchairs were much appreciated.

Poulin, State DeputyThe members of Club Activo 20-30 in Panama have partnered with the Knights of Columbus to store and then help distribute the more than 280 wheelchairs that arrived in Panama last January. Some of these wheelchairs were distributed in bulk while others were delivered to individuals during the delegation's eight-day visit.

Submitted by Bruce S. Poulin, State DeputyIn light of our donation of 280 wheelchairs to the people of Panama, GK Mariano from Council #14588 was able to arrange for a VIP tour of the Panamanian Presidential Palace on March 13.
