Council 5333 Holy Cross Kemptville, with the generous assistance and donations from parishioners, local schools and local businesses was able to assemble and deliver much needed food and gifts to over 90 needy families in our area.

In 1992 they changed their mandate to meet the evolving needs of the community, providing housing and support services for pregnant and parenting women and their children. Marillac Place resolves to give mothers the tools to become effective parents and self-supporting, responsible members of the community.

A collection of local councils and agents from the Neil Bouvier Insurance Agency got together and purchased an astounding 840 coats, which were then distributed to schools and local organizations. “The Coats for Kids campaign is but the most recent example of how the fruits of your goodness will make a real difference in the lives of young people in our community.”, wrote Patrick J. Mark 9:37 The Jerusalem Students project sponsors now more than 65 needy Christian students in the Holy Land. C$ 28,250 were sent to the school in sponsored tuition fees in 2016, and so far more than C$ 75,000 since the start of the project. 70% of the sponsors are councils and knights. This gift will help offset the deficit of the school as the parents are not able to pay the tuition of their children. The efforts of St. Justin Martyr Church, its various ministries and its KOFC Council 11798 made this parade a great Christmas Event. Once Fr.
