Richard, FSSaturday, February 18, 2017, St. Theresa the Little Flower Council 16005 had a Spaghetti and Karaoke dinner, a fundraising for the Building Maintenance of St. Theresa Parish. Tickets were sold out and everyone hade an enjoyable and fun evening. A very good spaghetti dinner prepared by our Brother Chef Lloyd. The same evening, we celebrated two occasions, Winterlude and the 150th Anniversary of Canada. Submitted by Randy Hingston, Hamilton North Diocesan ChairOn Saturday February 27th,DD Ted Jasica and chairman Chris Kleisath welcomed over 500 Free Throw Basket Ball Contestant and their Parents and Friends to St David's High-school in Waterloo for the Regional Competition. Participants were from Hamilton North, Hamilton South and St. Catharine's Diocesan Associations. The planning, execution and sportsmanship were all above anyone's expectation. This is the third year that this school has hosted us and for that we are very thankful.

They have pledge $ 50,000.00 over 5 years as a small Council and with the help of their supporters they work long hours to raise this amount each year. Submitted by Gary Megaffin Public Relations, MediaFather Larry Parent and the Blessed Sacrament Refugee Sponsorship Committee were the recipients of $ 1,000.00 presented on behalf of Council 1504 by GK Brian Schmalz and DGK Dave Obermeyer. The K of C donation will assist the Committee is their charitable quest to support a Syrian refugee family coming to Canada. The Committee consists of Fr. Larry, Sheila & Sean Sage; Cathy Walsh; Tom & Mary Borys and Stephen & Kathy Lance.
