Our congratulations, blessings and good wishes to all the new 4th Degree Knights and to the Assemblies they represent. Submitted by Rick Stankiewicz, District DeputyAnnual Memorial Mass for District#29: The annual District#29 Memorial Mass was hosted this year by Council #11486 (Douro) at St. Joseph’s Parish on Sunday, November 6th, 2016. This Mass and Service were in memory of all the deceased members of the Knights of Columbus in District#29, as well as a memorial to all the men and women that serve and protect us and our freedom through both our military and emergency services. District#29 includes the five Knights Councils of Norwood/Havelock, Ennismore, Douro, Lakefield/Kawartha Lakes and Assumption/Keene. Submitted by SK Hikmat Dandan, Past Grand KnightTORONTO REMEMBRANCE DAY PARADE AT NEW TORONTO CITY HALL It was reported by the host Cardinal McGuigan Assembly # 865 Sir Knight David Baker and Sir Knight Eardley Adams of St. John Paul II Assembly # 3325 that this was the largest assembly of Sir Knights numbering 34 at the Toronto Remembrance Day Parade Nov 11th, 2016. The weather cooperated, and the service for the fallen was most touching and the crowds applauded with their appreciation. LEST WE FORGET.

Submitted by David Long Grand KnightRyan and Favin Alemao Ordination Members of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Council 12706 and their wives lead by Grand Knight, David Long attended the Ordination of Ryan and Favin Alemao to the Transitional Diaconate at their home Parish of St. Francis de Sales, Ajax, Ontario on Sunday November 13, 2016. The ordination was officiated by Thomas Cardinal Collins, Archbishop of the Diocese of Toronto. The brothers are scheduled to be ordained to the priesthood in 2017. Submitted by Paul O'Neill, Grand KnightMsgr. Paul J. Meyer Council 4916 hosted the Icon of the Holy Family at St. Mary of the Visitation Church on Oct 29-30. The Icon was present all weekend and following the Masses the parishioners had an opportunity to venerate the Icon. The parishioners were very impressed with the Icon.
