This annual event is always well received by the parishioners with parts of the proceeds going to help fund the needs of the church plus other activities.

The St. George Banquet Hall was full with Knights, parishioners and their families, more than 250 seats. The live entertainment, and Brazilian dancing show was spectacular. The Knights and their ladies belly danced and did salsa as well. Red roses filled all the tables. The food was a mix of Middle Eastern appetizers and main course of chicken and beef. Flags are travelling across Ontario and will come together at the School Champs event in Niagara in June. Generous response from members and other councils in Thunder Bay resulted in the shipment of 13 large equipment bags of skates,sweaters,sticks, pads and a complete set of goalie equipment to Muskrat Dam.

EARLIER IN THE DAY, THE FLAG WAS AT THE KINGSVILLE AREA FOR MINOR HOCKEY PLAYERS AND FAMILIES TO SIGN. SUNDAY, THE FLAG WAS AT OUR CHILIFEST AFTER MASS FOR OUR PARISHIONER TO SIGN.
