The event attended by Ontario State Deputy Sir Knight David Peters and the Christian Refugee Relief Director SK Hikmat Dandan and many other knights, and supporters was organized by CNEWA, a Papal Agency, Catholic Near East Welfare Association and the Archdiocese of Toronto. Submitted by SK Hikmat Michel DandanSt Mark's CouncilThe beautiful newly expanded St Mark’s church in Stouffville was made possible through the generous support of His Eminence, Thomas Cardinal Collins, the Archdiocese faithful, and the parish family of St. Mark’s through the Family of Faith campaign. At the rededication mass celebration, by His Eminence The Cardinal, Father Michael Hughes mentioned the history of founding the church in 1979. The expansion was also only made possible with many professionals volunteering and gifting their services and the generous donations of parishioners.
