Submitted by Nicholas QuadriniSts Peter and PaulMembers of Sts Peter and Paul Council 1812 supported their parish’s multi-day festival, celebrating the feast day of their Patron Saints’ Peter and Paul. Brothers from the council were involved in all aspects of the festival, including setting up tents, lighting, chairs, and selling the well sought after Dubai Ice Cream. The event was a great success, with hundreds of people from across Ottawa participating in several days of dancing and celebration.

More than 160 attended the event held at the RAFO in Navan. Well done and thank you for your service. Looking on is proud father Brother Jeff Rivard. Heather will be pursuing her education in Business Administration at the University of Windsor in the fall.

Smith Squire Circle #4742 in Oshawa and on Sunday June 8, 2025 his father, Christopher, became a member of St. Joseph the Worker Council #9989 also in Oshawa. State Treasurer, Joe Bodnar, a counsellor in Circle #4742 and member of Council #9989 attended both ceremonies and looks forward to working with Chris and Aaron at future Knights and Squire events. Poulin, State DeputyOn June 3, in Ottawa, some 1,500 athletes, trainers, educators, volunteers, family, and friends took part in the opening ceremonies of the Special Olympics School Championship Provincials held at the Fieldhouse at Carleton University. Eight hundred of them were high school athletes who have trained all year for the opportunity to compete for the next two days here in Ottawa. This was the first time these championships were held in Ottawa.
