District 107- Council 3296 Sacred Heart of Jesus icon Holy

Submitted by Brother Dennis Wahking DD107Council 3296The first Sacred Heart of Jesus Holy Hour in District 107 was held by Father James J. Farrell Council 3296 (Scarborough) at Manresa Retreat Centre in Pickering on Sunday, June 1 at 6:30 p.m. The Holy Hour was led by their chaplain, Father James Kelly. There were 35 brothers and sisters in attendance.

First Church Drive of the Month Completed for Council 12401

The investment paid off - thirteen Catholic men confirmed their interest in joining the Knights and helping their community.

Bowling Tournament in Windsor

Submitted by Bruce S. Poulin, State DeputyOn June 1, brother Knights in the Windsor area took part in the third annual bowling tournament at REVS Rose Bowl Lanes in Windsor. The State team won first place as well as the best dressed team. Brother Ray Beaupre, a member of the winning team, also had the highest score with 263.Knights. Well done brother!

He took the opportunity to let them know that we had surpassed our membership quota for 2024-2025 today and to present his 125th anniversary Commemorative State Deputy Coin to brother Harold Lalonde for his exceptional commitment to the Knights. Well done brother!

Annual state Convention in Michigan May

Poulin, State DeputyOur State Deputy and Secretary accepted the kind invitation from SD Barry Borsenick of Michigan to attend their annual State Convention held on Mackinac Island, MI between May 21-23. Members will recall that dozens of members from Michigan attended our International "Knight" Banquet dinner in Windsor in September 2024 and that psd Walter Winkle attended our 2025 annual State Convention. It was a great opportunity to share fraternity and compare state convention practices with a view of making the Order a better service organization. Thank you Michigan!.

After eight months of preparation under the guidance of Monsignor Makarios Wehbi and catechist Mrs Claude Hanna, 10 families gathered at The Cathedral of The Transfiguration for this blessed occasion. More than 110 people came to the event - a new record since the COVID lockdowns. Glasses Collection by Council 11752 in Ottawa

Submitted by Bruce S. Poulin, State DeputyCouncil 11752On May 24, for the second consecutive year, the members of Council #11752 in Manotick held an eye glasses collection drive. In all, some 500 glasses were donated by the parishioners of St Leonard Church and local schools.. They will end up in Villa Marzo, Cordon Isabella, in Luzon North in the Philip[pines. Upon their arrival in North Luzon, the local Knights of Columbus Council, in partnership with a local optical clinic, will test the glasses and distribute them accordingly. Thank you to brother Rolando Lagmay for leading this effort.

Exemplification for District #62

Submitted by Bruce S. Poulin, State DeputyCouncil 10061St Gabriel's Council 10061 in Burlington hosted an Exemplification for District #62 on May 18. Eighteen candidates (from St. Paul the Apostle Church and St. Gabriel's Church) became regular members of the Order, including Fr. Paul Patrick, the Pastor for St Gabriel's Parish. Even though this event was held on Victoria Day long weekend, the turnout and the interest was very inspiring. It was also one of the first official occasions to display our new travelling icon. Well done brothers!
