Wattson Event Name: Bottle Drive in Support of Special Olympics Ontario On September 12, 2020 Council 8919 held it's fall Bottle Drive for Special Olympics. Seven Brother Knights devoted over 40 hours cumulatively to coordinate, collect and return all donations brought to Our Lady of the Atonement Parish between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Congratulations to outgoing GK Joe Milton, current GK Mark Freeman and the entire council. The symbol of this award is the beautiful podium covered with plaques of the many winners over the years. Submitted by Bro Fernando Greco Grand Knight, Council 11337 Sts. Peter and Paul On the weekend of Saturday and Sunday August 15th and 16th with the support of our Pastor Fr . Mario Salvadori who had made several pulpit announcements, our Council held a diaper and Baby wipes drive before and after all weekend masses and collected the items previously listed. On Friday August 21st Brother Dilbert Nolasco, Past Grand knight Osaru Ogbomo and myself GK Fernando Greco (the one next to the lady) delivered the items collected to Pauline Murphy from the Mississauga/Brampton Birthright centre.
