Submitted by John Sobrinho St. Mark's Council 10874, Stouffville. On December 1 and December 3, St. Mark’s Council #10874 delivered 10 boxes of winter coats for kids. Recipients include six local elementary schools, The Rose of Sharon, and St. Vincent de Paul. St. Isaac Jogues Council 11098 in Pickering, ON was recently recognized by Amica Senior Lifestyles for our Community involvement . We provided five Christmas Hampers that Our Council donated to Orchard Villa Retirement Community for senior residents. Granottier Council 2092 have raised over $40k for charity through 2021, after launching a radio bingo fundraising campaign that has spread to numerous communities in Grey County over the course of the past year. Grey Highlands council approved the organization's request to continue selling bingo tickets in the municipality on Jan. 5. They have donated $20k to the Grey Bruce chapter of Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) in support of its youth programs, with another $20k currently earmarked for donation to them as well. Submitted by Ray Francoeur St. Helen Cross Council 15999 Coats for Kids On Thursday, December 2nd, 2021, the St Helen of the Cross Council 15999 presented Community Care West Niagara (CCWN) with 48 New Winter Coats. The coats were donated through the Knights of Columbus (KofC) Coats for Kids Program. Money for the coats was collected through the KofC Bottle Drive Fundraiser. CCWN was able to order specific sizes and styles to suit the demographic of children in need of a coat.
